About Me

Growing Up

I grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan and moved to Okemos, Michigan when I was 7 years old. I have 1 sibling, my 5 year older brother TJ, and my parents Cathy and Jerry George. Throughout my childhood I would always follow my brother around, whether he was with his friends or not. Since TJ was always playing sports, I fell in love with them at a very young age and was. Running around the neighborhood playing games, getting dirty, getting bloody was something I was really good at and something that never got old. When I reached High School, I ended up playing baseball, and basketball. During my junior year of basketball I began getting offers to play in college, which ultimately led me play the next 5 years in East Lansing. If I am not playing any sports, my favorite things to do are heading to a lake or a beach with friends and simply hang out and enjoy the nice weather. If the weather is not nice, you would be able to find me watching t.v. somewhere either watching Game of Thrones, The Office, or a Marvel movie.

Basketball

The past 5 years have been some of the best years of my life and ones that I will never forget. Basketball has always been more than just a game to me. Throughout the years I have put in so much time and effort, that it meant everything to me. Playing college basketball was a way to challenge myself and compete against the very best basketball players around the country day in, day out alongside of a Hall of Fame coach as well in Tom Izzo. One of the main reasons why I loved this place was because the group of guys I had on my team and the friendships that I have created since arriving here in the summer of 2015.These are some of the many reasons why I will never forget my time here at MSU.

year.

After beating Ohio State on Senior Night this year, there was a special presentation for seniors to get honored at the Breslin Center. This was my reaction after being announced with my family by my side.
